OVERVIEW
GSC Capital Corp. is a specialty finance company that invests in real-estate allocated securities and various other asset classes. It intends to elect and qualify to be taxed as a real-estate investment trust, or REIT, for federal income tax purposes. GSC Capital Corp.’s objective is to provide attractive risk-adjusted returns to investors through a combination of dividends and capital appreciation. It will opportunistically invest in a broad class of financial assets to construct a diversified investment portfolio that is leveraged where appropriate to achieve attractive risk-adjusted returns and that is structured to comply with various federal income tax requirements for REIT status.
